Foods Which Help Regrow Your Hair

Normally, the cycle of hair growth lasts for about 2 to 3 years and during this time, each hair grows up to 1 cm per month. When 90% of the hair on your scalp is in this growth phase, the remaining 10% is in the resting phase which falls off. This hairfall phase could last for about 3 to 4 months simultaneously. Therefore, it is absolutely normal to lose some amount of hair during this phase. However, if you are losing excessive hair for a continuous period of 4 to 5 months daily, you need to consider hair loss treatments. Hair loss is something that all of us experience and there can be various reasons such as, hormonal problems, genetics, inappropriate diet and lifestyle, medical treatments or aging. Even though some of the reasons are out of our control, we can surely regulate our diet and lifestyle to avoid voluntary hair loss. In the paragraphs below, you will read about foods that help regrow hair effectively. Take a look.

Foods that Stimulate Hair Growth

Our diet is the only way our body can receive all the required nutrients. Thus, consuming foods that are rich in the 5 main nutrients such as; vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, proteins and fats is very essential for a healthy body. All these nutrients have their own significance in the metabolism, thus should be present in substantial amounts in the body. Just the way our body needs nourishment, our hair also needs nourishment for better growth and health. Hair growth requires proteins, vitamins (A, B, C, D, E) and minerals (iron, zinc, phosphorous, potassium, magnesium) in adequate amounts to give stronger and healthier results. Find out what are the foods that help regrow hair, mentioned in the following paragraphs.

Eat Your Greens
Known to be the best sources of vitamins A and C are green and dark green vegetables, such as; spinach, broccoli, Swiss chard, etc. The vitamins A and C are extremely important for hair regrowth, as they help in producing a waxy material, sebum, which is produced by the sebaceous glands of the hair follicles. It acts as a natural conditioner to your hair and is a great stimulant for hair growth.

Crunch Away
There are various nuts which are used as foods that help regrow hair, because of the presence of useful vitamins and minerals in them. Almonds, are the richest sources of vitamin E and iron which are two important nutrients that stimulate hair growth. Iron helps produce more blood in your body and vitamin E helps in blood circulation, thus nourishing the cells in your scalp. Other nuts such as; Brazil nuts and walnuts, are good sources of selenium, omega-3 fatty acids and alpha-linolenic acids, which also help in hair growth. Cashews and pecans are high in zinc, which helps in protein synthesis and absorption of vitamins.

Yummy Coastal Food
For those who love to eat seafood and fish, you can have very healthy hair growth. This is because you will find salmon to be an extremely rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, hair proteins, and vitamin B12. These nutrients provide nourishment to the cells and roots of the hair, thus providing strong and healthy hair strands. Other fish such as; mackerel, catfish, sardines, herring and tuna are rich in vitamin D, that reduces hair loss through its conditioning properties. Oysters and shells are excellent sources of the antioxidant, zinc.

Hair Needs Proteins
Meat such as beef and turkey, poultry such as chicken and eggs, are great sources of vitamin B and proteins. These foods for healthy hair include vitamin B12 that enhances the production of red blood cells, and improves blood circulation in the scalp, nourishing the cells. These are also good sources of zinc, proving absorption of other required vitamins and nourishing the scalp.

Lactose Helps
Consuming dairy foods like cow's milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, sour cream, butter, etc., could provide you with calcium, proteins like whey and casein, and vitamin B. These nutrients are essential for building the hair follicles and strengthening the roots of the hair. This is will reduce hair loss and make the existing hair healthy and strong. They are also sources of biotin and pantothenic acid, two important factors in hair growth.

Other Foods

A few other foods that help regrow hair are whole grains such as wheat and oats. Whole wheat consists of silica and iron, both help in absorption of important vitamins and minerals. Whereas, oats are rich in other minerals like potassium, magnesium and phosphorous. Citric acid fruits like oranges, grapes, lemons, etc., provide vitamin C that helps in the formation of collagen, a vital protein needed for hair growth. Soybeans include vitamin E and iron, and chickpeas include vitamin B6 and zinc. All these are important for hair formation and strengthening.

From these foods that help regrow hair, you can not only achieve healthy hair, but a nutritious diet that improves your overall body health. So, make sure you keep your diet and lifestyle appropriate so that you won't have to suffer too much hair loss.

Making Your Hair Glow Faster

To learn how to make your hair grow faster, all you have to know is how to treat your body. Everything from the food you eat to your hairstyles and the stress in your life can affect how your hair grows and how it looks. Learning basic tips about hair care will make it that much stronger and healthier. Consider the following information when trying to make your hair grow at a faster rate.

The key to learning how to make your hair grow faster is to feed it vitamins. If you eat a balanced diet full of vitamins, your hair will grow faster and look healthier. Look for foods that are rich in vitamins A, B, C and E. For example, a diet full of fish, spinach and yogurt is one that will give you thick, shiny and strong hair.

Another surefire way to make your hair grow faster is to receive regular trims. This way, you can rid yourself of dead or split ends. If you have dead ends, this will slow down your hair growth.

Try massaging your scalp for two minutes each day if you want your hair to grow faster. Doing this increases your head's circulation which in turn makes hair grow at a faster rate. To do this, rub your fingertips in a circular motion on your scalp for two minutes in the morning.

Lastly, if you want your hair to grow fast, you need to treat it well. Thus, don't brush your hair when it's wet, use shampoos and conditioners that are specific to your hair type and try to limit the amount of heated styling or dyes you use on your hair. Try not to pull your hair into super-tight hairstyles, as this could affect your scalp's pores and the hair growth process. If your hair is damaged, it will not grow as fast.

How to find the right hairstyle for you

Some studies have been done that show 77% of women have the wrong hairstyle for their face. Are you one of those ladies with the wrong hairstyle?
Instructions
Step1
If you are considering changing your look then there are simple ways to find the best hairstyle that will compliment your face. First of all you are going to want to consider these simple questions before getting another hairstyle. How much time do you have on a daily basis to manage your hair styling routine?Do you have the right equipment to create the look at home? How much money can you spend to maintain your hairstyle?

Step2
Now that you have considered the amount of time that you can spend on your hair daily as well as the amount it will cost in maintaining it, now you can look at the styles that are suitable for you. There are things that you can do to create different looks but what looks good on one person will not look so good on another. You can not change your face shape so you have to learn to work with it. Certain styles look better on certain face shapes. Here are some of the best looks for certain face shapes.
Step3
Round face ~ Long hairstyles work best for your shape. Long hair elongates a round face and can be more flattering than short cuts are on you. Layers in particular will look better the all one length. Layers work well for all face shapes but be more flattering on round faces since it elongates your face. Wavy hair also can help create a beautiful look on round faces. Also hairstyles that give fullness and height at the crown will draw attention up and elongate your face.
Step4
* Avoid slick up-do hairstyles that have no hair whatsoever hanging down around your face since they will make your face appear wider then normal. Even just having an up-do with some curls coming down can make flatter your look. Chin length hair with rounded lines are also not very good for flattering your face structure. They make your face appear to be rounder.
Step5
Square face ~ Haircuts that emphasize your cheekbones at mid-line of the face are the most flattering to your face structure. Wearing your hair coming forward will help to reduce the squareness of your face. Bangs also flatter you face and will help create a softer look to your overall appearance.* Avoid long straight style that accentuate your square jawbone. Center parts are also not flattering for your face structure. Try side parts instead to soften your look.
Step6
Rectangle face ~ Short to medium lengths will look great for you as with fullness at the sides of your face and at your eyes and your cheekbones. Bangs also look good on you since they will help shorten the length of your face. Layers will look great with your face structure as well.* Avoid center parts, try using only side parts. Center parts will draw attention to the middle of your face and make your face appear longer then it is.
Step7
Triangle face ~ Chin length haircuts or longer cuts are best for your face structure. Shags and Wedge haircuts go well with your face. Your face shape is one where tucking hair behind your ears will flatter you, because it draws attention to your eyes and add width to your face.* Avoid long, full hairstyles that draw attention to jaw line since it will not flatter your face structure. Also center parts are not for you, it will draw attention to the middle of your face make it appear to be longer then it really is.
Step8
Heart face ~ A chin length bob will look great on you. Fullness on the bottom will add width to your chin. Center parts also look great on you.* Avoid too much height at the crown since it will not flatter your face structure. Slicked back looks also will not flatter you since it will draw attention to your face shape.
Step9
I hope that these tips are useful to you in finding the right hairstyle for you. Certain looks just look better on certain face shapes, so next time you go to get a new hairstyle consult for awhile with your hair stylist and ask them any questions that you have. Getting the best hairstyle for your face will help you look your best and feel your best to when you get compliments by those around you!

How to Shave The Pubic Area for Women?

The shaving of  pubic area for women can be a hassle. The sensitive skin in this area is more prone to breakouts and shave bumps than on other areas of the body.

Pubic Area Shaving Tips
Trim first. If your hair is long, you will spend more time cleaning your razor than actually shaving with it. This will serve to dull your razor and, and a dull razor irritates skin. Use small grooming scissors and a mirror, if necessary, to trim the hair down to about a half inch. If you're worried about cutting yourself, use a comb as a barrier between your skin and your scissors.

Clean and exfoliate. Once you've trimmed, you'll want to wash away the extra hair with a mild cleanser and exfoliate using an exfoliating body wash or an exfoliating brush or loofah. Gentle exfoliation removes dead skin cells, which can otherwise clog pores and lead to razor bumps.

Continue with your shower or bath. Soaking the pubic area in warm water for at least 10 to 15 minutes softens both the hair and skin and opens the hair follicle, making hair easier to remove.

Use shaving cream, not soap. This area of the body is more sensitive than others, so extra skin lubrication is needed. Shaving with soap dries out the skin and doesn't provide as much lubrication. Use a thick shaving cream with added moisturizers. You can also rub on shaving oil before you apply shaving cream if you are extra prone to shave bumps or break outs.

Use a new razor. The older a razor gets, the duller the blade becomes. Disposable razors are really only meant for one use and dull quickly. More expensive razors with interchangeable heads can be used more than once, but given the extra sensitive nature of the area you're shaving, you'll want to use a new razor or head each time you shave your public area.

Shave in the same direction as the hair first. Use one pass, then rinse the hair and shaving cream from your razor before making another pass in another area. Once you have made one pass in each are, recoat the area with shaving cream. Pulling the skin tight, make a second pass in the opposite direction of the hair. Try not to make more than two passed over the same area to avoid irritation.

Allow the skin to dry. Pat with a clean towel and wait 10 to 15 minutes before getting dressed. This period of time allows the hair follicles to close and will help prevent shaving bumps by keeping the pores clean. Apply a light moisturizer if you have sensitive skin.

How to Open Hair Roots for Faster Hair Growth

Thick, strong, voluptuous hair begins with a healthy scalp. We're constantly told to take good care of our hair, but the scalp is often neglected. The key to faster hair growth as well as healthier hair is a well taken care of scalp. Massages and herbal oil extracts are two inexpensive ways to open hair roots for faster hair growth.

Instructions  & Things You'll Need
    Rosemary essential oil
    Lavender essential oil
    Olive oil
    Hot oil treatment
    Deep conditioning hair mask

  • Get a deep scalp massage. Many salons and spas offer scalp massages as part of their services. A scalp massage opens hair roots for faster hair growth by stimulating blood flow to the area. The increase in blood flow to the scalp promotes the growth of healthy and strong hair.
  • Mix 10 drops of rosemary essential oil and 10 drops of lavender essential oil in a small, clean bottle. Allow the essential oils to mellow and blend for two days. Add 2 tsp. of olive oil to the bottle and shake to blend all the oils together. Massage the oil into your hair and scalp. Allow the oils to soak into your scalp for about 15 minutes, then wash out with shampoo. Massaging opens up hair roots, allowing the natural essential oils to absorb into the scalp. Rosemary and lavender have been used for years as herbal hair growth aids.
  • Apply a hot oil treatment to your hair. The heat will open up the hair roots and stimulate blood flow to the pores in the scalp. The oil will moisturize and fortify the hair shaft to encourage thicker and fuller hair growth. Combine 2 tsp. of almond oil and 2 tsp. of avocado oil in a heat-proof cup. Place the cup in a hot water bath to heat the oils, then apply to hair.
  •  Apply a deep conditioning treatment, then position yourself under heat lamps or other sources of heat. As discussed in step 3, heat is essential in opening hair roots. A deep conditioning treatment containing rich nutrients and minerals moisturizes hair from roots to tips, making it stronger and less likely to fall out while also encouraging hair growth. Try Carol's Daughter Khoret Aman Deep Conditioning Treatment.
  • Run a fine-tooth comb or brush gently but firmly through your scalp. As you do this, the dead skin cells that cluster around hair root openings will detach and fall out, causing the hair roots to open.

The Shaving Tips For Women

While a man will most commonly only have to shave his face, many women shave their legs, underarms and also private areas to stay well-groomed. Excessive hair growth in these areas is inconvenient for some women and can cause body odor. There are a few tips that you should keep in mind to assure that your skin will be smooth, moisturized and free from irritation after shaving.

Go With, Then Against the Grain
Go with the grain first when you shave. A good, sharp razor will be able to cut the hairs very close to the root. Then, if you still feel stubble, you can go against the grain to smooth it out.

Shaving Gel
Women's skin is softer, gentler and more sensitive than men's, so you should not use the same shaving cream that men use. Either use a body wash, preferably one that has aloe vera and vitamin E, or a shaving gel that is specially formulated for women.

Number of Blades
The more blades you have on your razor, the better. You get a closer, cleaner shave when you have three or more blades. The process is also quicker because you do not have to run the razor over the same area of skin multiple times.

Underarms
When you shave your underarms too closely, you cut away a layer of the skin. Then when you put on deodorant while the skin is still raw, the chemicals can enter your bloodstream more easily. You can also get rashes from too close of a shave on your armpits. So, in the winter months when your underarms will not likely be exposed to the world, try not to shave all the way down to the skin. Leave a small amount of peach fuzz.

Shave Before You Go to Bed
Avoid shaving right before you go outdoors, especially if the shaved skin will be exposed. When you shave, the top-most layer of your skin is removed, leaving your skin more vulnerable to the elements outside (like sun and air pollutants). This is why after you shave the skin may sting. Shave before you go to bed so that your top layer of skin has a chance to grow back before you go outside again.

Moisturize Afterward
Just as men use aftershave to soothe the skin after shaving, you should be applying moisturizer to your skin after shaving your other body parts. Use pure cocoa or shea butter. There are also razors that come equipped with built-in moisturizing bars and shaving gel to keep your skin soft during and after the shave.

How to Get Thicker Hair?

Follow these tips, and you will get your hair thicker natural

Massage
Massaging your head and scalp regularly with coconut oil is one of the best methods to get thicker hair naturally. Heat the coconut oil a little and apply it on the scalp and hair by moving your fingers in circular motions. Apart from coconut oil, you can also use other types of oil that suits you like olive oil, jojoba oil, virgin oil, etc. Once you have applied the oil, wet a towel in hot water, squeeze off the excess water and wrap it around your hair. Following this procedure at least one day in a week helps in making the scalp stronger, thus leading to thick and shiny hair. Read more on grow hair faster tips.
Healthy Diet
Just like our body needs good food to stay healthy, even our hair needs a good supply of vitamins and minerals to grow longer as well as thicker. Hence, it is important to indulge in a diet that is healthy as well as balanced. Your daily diet should include foods like fruits, fresh vegetables, nuts, eggs, etc. Along with your diet, it is also recommended to take a daily dosage of multivitamin tablets to get thicker hair. Also, do not forget to drink lots of water, it definitely helps in hair growth. Read more on vitamins for hair loss.

Hair Washing Care
Washing your hair regularly is important, but too much washing can make the hair dry. Washing your hair every alternate day is good enough. Moreover, avoid washing your hair with hot water, opt for lukewarm water, as hot water can cause damage to your hair. Mostly people who have oily hair wash their hair regularly. If you are doing this, avoid using shampoos and conditioners everyday. After washing the hair, many people have the habit of wrapping it with a towel to dry. You have to strictly avoid this practice as this can cause hair breakage as well as too many tangles. Once you have washed your hair, let it dry on its own and also avoid combing your hair while it is still wet.

Shampoo and Conditioner
Advertisements about shampoos and conditioners that promise healthy and thicker hair always tempt us. However, most of the times, these shampoos do not have any positive effect, rather they sometimes damage the hair. This is because these hair products contain chemicals that can cause harm to the hair. Most shampoos contain sodium laureth sulfate, which is meant to remove the oil and dirt, but in the process it also makes the scalp weak. Hence, before buying your shampoo, check its ingredients list carefully. You can also opt for a shampoo which is made of herbs and does not contain any harsh chemicals. Read more on hair care products.

Avoid Straightening or Curling
It has become a trend among youngsters to experiment with their looks by curling, straightening and coloring their hair. However, experts say that if you want to have healthy and thicker hair, you have to stop these practices completely. This is because, doing these changes to the hair makes the hair week, thin, and also to lose its natural luster.

Other Tips for Thicker Hair
Henna is one of the best way to grow thicker hair naturally. Henna not only gives a natural color to the hair, but also helps in making it thick, soft and shiny. Applying raw egg yolk to the hair once a month also helps in the growth of thicker hair. The type of comb you use will make a difference to the quality of your hair. Hence, instead of combs which have teeth that are set very closely, you should buy a wide teeth comb made of wood or bone. Another important suggestion to protect your hair from damage is to cover your hair with a scarf while you are going outdoors.

How to Maintain Dreadlocks

 Here we go:-

  • Wash the dreadlocks at least once a week. Use a residue-free shampoo for washing. You may need to wash your dreadlocks more frequently if you sweat a lot on your head.
  • An alternative to cleaning dreadlocks with shampoo is to use a mixture of apple cider and water in the ratio of 1:3. This is a natural and excellent cleanser and the best answer to the question 'Dreadlocks - how to wash it naturally?'.
  • Twist the dreadlocks right after taking a shower, i.e. when your hair is wet. This will ensure a longer life of the dreadlocks.
  • Massage your scalp twice a day. It will maintain proper circulation of blood. This will, in turn, help in releasing natural oils in the scalp, preventing dryness and natural breakage of dreadlocks.
  • Massaging will also tone up your scalp. This will decrease or completely eliminate the need for using conditioners and other hair care products on dreadlocks.
  • In case your dreadlocks look frizzy and brittle, you will have to apply conditioner on them for preventing breakage. If you wish, you can apply the conditioner only on the dreadlocks.
  • Try to use chemicals as low as possible because it will attract dirt, dust and other chemicals and will eventually lead to dreadlocks damage. The best idea will be to use hair care products especially made for dreadlocks.
  • Whenever you use shampoos or conditioners on your dreadlocks, rinse them completely. Dreadlocks act like sponges and absorb chemicals. Rinsing them well with water will remove any chemical trapped in them. This is very necessary for good and long-term health of your hair.
  • Check for the fabric on which you sleep. By sleeping on fabrics like cotton or flannel, you may damage your hair over time as they cause the dreadlocks to pull against them while sleeping.
  • The fabrics that are considered to be the best for maintaining dreadlocks are silk and satin. However, if you have to use cotton bed sheets then wrap your dreadlocks with silk scarf while you sleep. More on dreadlocks head wraps.
  • You will often find build-ups in your dreadlocks. They are suitable for microbial growth. This may give rise to infection on your scalp. An ideal option to prevent microbial infection on scalp is to sterilize it with an antiseptic agent on a regular basis.
Enjoy

Here Is How to Make Dreadlocks Fast

The following is a tried and tested method on getting dreadlocks :

The Back Sweep Method
Also called the back combing method, it literally means to comb the hair in the opposite direction towards the scalp, so that the hair gets frizzier along the way. Here are the steps you would need to follow if you are making your own dreads. Though it would be reasonable to request a friend to assist you in this seemingly easy but rather exhausting task. If you do it alone there is a high possibility that the dreads on the back of your head will be ill formed. Follow these instructions step by step:

  • Do not condition your hair for at least 7-10 days before the day you intend to get your dreadlocks done. This will ensure that your hair has lesser moisture or oiliness.
  • Wash your hair with a non residue shampoo and then allow it to air dry.
  • Once your hair is dry, part your hair into small sections, take as much hair as you would like, depending on how thick you wish your dreads to be. They will get fluffier over time, so be careful not to take too much hair per dread.
  • Now take one section at a time, while you secure the rest of the free hair with a rubber band.
  • Take the section and twist it real tight, or simply roll the section over your finger. Always tie the ends of the hair with a rubber band. Now slowly begin to comb your hair backwards towards your scalp from the tip of the hair.
  • Now apply some dreadlocks wax or bee wax all over the section, this will ensure that the hair retains its twists.
  • You will need to twist the section once more while massaging the wax into the hair section. Then secure the rubber band again.
  • Avoid dread waxes which have petroleum in them, as they are meant to help give shine to already time tested dreads. Petroleum, causes new dreads to loosen out.
  • Repeat this process with the rest of the hair sections. The entire procedure will take about 4 hours or so to complete, if you have shoulder length or longer hair.
Of course you could get neater dreads if you get them done from a professional. The fact being that this hairstyle unlike others is more permanent in nature. Therefore would it not be safer to seek professional help? They would be able to give unique designs on the scalp, while twisting the dreads with perfection. None the less if you do choose to dread your own hair, you need to make sure that your hair is long enough to be twisted even if they are relatively short. Hair that reaches till your nose would do just fine, and can be made into dreads easily. Though you will need to learn all about how to maintain dreadlocks properly. Apple cider vinegar mixed in water works great in cleansing the scalp and keeping the dreads dust free. Also once your dreads are made, try not to wash your hair for another 10 days or so. If you can't stand the grime or feel it's getting too dirty, use a cotton swap or a sponge dipped in apple cider vinegar so as to clean the hair.

The back sweep combined with the twisting method works the best for making dreads at home, since it makes the job relatively easier. Your dreads will take a month or more to completely form, and you will need to wax them every time you begin to see loose strands or your twists begin to loosen out. Hopefully now you know how to make dreadlocks on your own.

Beautiful Hair

How to achieve and maintain a healthy head of beautiful hair.
Three main things are needed for a good-looking head of hair - good health, the right attention to cleanliness, and caution when using cosmetic treatments.

1. Adequate Diet
Hair growth depends on an adequate diet. A widespread diet problem which causes loss of hair is iron deficiency Anaemia. The cause is too little iron in blood, brought on by a diet containing too little meat, eggs, cereals or peas and beans. Fresh fruits and vegetables are also needed to provide vitamin C, which enables the body to absorb iron.
2. Cutting the hair
Although cutting the hair is not essential to its well-being, it is easier to keep the scalp clean if the hair is kept reasonably short. Regular cutting does not make the hair grow strong or faster.
3. How hair can be damaged
Although scalp hair is hardy, and can withstand a lot of abuse, it can be damaged by too much or inexpertly applied perming, dyeing , bleaching and massage. The amount of beau-tying the hair can take varies from person to person. Occasionally the scalp is allergic to the dye and becomes inflamed and swollen. To prevent this occurring, the dye should be tested by applying it to a small area on the arm. If a patch of inflammation has developed, the dye must not be used on the hair.
Most people who bleach their hair do so with hydrogen peroxide. If the peroxide is repeatedly applied, it may make the hair brittle. If this happens the hair may turn rough, develop split ends, or become thinned or shortened.

Beer and Mayonnaise For Your HAIR Care

With the amount of money people spend on salon hair care products, it almost feels too good to be true to think that beer and mayonnaise – items you likely have in your refrigerator right now – can make a difference in the quality of your tresses. Both of these items have long been touted as not-so-secret beauty godsends, but many people refrain from actually trying out the approaches. The question remains: do beer or mayonnaise actually do any good when it comes to your hair?

Beer Rinses: Liquid Diet for Your Hair?
While the hair products you know and love give your hair the shine and manageability you need, but daily use adds layers of residue to your hair. In order to strip away the bad product and leave the good, healthy hair follicles, an acidic rinse is necessary at least once every other week – and your favorite beer could be just the acidic rinse you need to smooth out your hair cuticles and increase shine.

Don’t crack open a cold one and pour directly onto your head, though – be sure that the beer is flat. Open a beer, let it settle and then pour it onto your hair. Massage the beer into the hair and then rinse with cold water. Keep in mind that you are working with a very pungent liquid and factor the beer smell into your plans. This is not something you want to do immediately before an important meeting or event.
Mayonnaise: Not Just Your Favorite Sandwich Spread
The thick creaminess of mayonnaise serves as the crowning touch to many a perfect sandwich, but it can also serve quench the thirst of dry and brittle hair.

Mayonnaise is, however, a very tricky condiment with which to condition, which is why many people report horror stories after they attempt a mayonnaise deep condition. The trick to working with mayonnaise is to completely rinse out the product after you have used it – this is where those failed attempts go wrong. If you do rinse it all out, you will be left with silky hair; if you do not, your hair will look greasy and limp.

Apply a thin coat of mayonnaise to dry hair, being sure to work the condiment into your scalp. Leave the mayonnaise on your head for 20 minutes and then rinse with cold water. Shampoo your hair after you rinse – this will further help wash that product out of your hair and down the drain.

Know The Pros and Cons of Lace Front Wigs

Ladies as you all know lace front wigs are so popular nowadays due to its natural look.
Lace front wigs are one of the most versatile and natural looking wig styles available, making them popular with movie and rock stars worldwide. However, lace front wigs have both big benefits and big disadvantages, depending on your specific needs.

A lace front wig is exactly like it sounds. It is a wig with a delicate lace scalp at the front. The lace is threaded with real or synthetic strands of hair in a completely natural manner. Just like real hair, the wig starts with a thin layer or short, thin hairs at the front. The hair grows thicker in size and volume, as well as longer, the farther back it is placed on the scalp.

Pros
This gradual transition from sparsely spread thin hair to densely spread thick hair creates the most realistic looking wig as far as the front appearance goes. It mimics how hair grows naturally, making it almost undetectable and thus fantastic for movies, theatre, photography, concerts or any other up-close visual work.

The realistic lace front also allows the hair part on the wig to occur anywhere. The wigs can then be curled, braided or twisted into any hair style desired. This fantastic versatility allows a single wig to be used in a wide assortment of looks, making it somewhat budget friendly.

Cons
The delicate work on lace front wigs is their single, biggest disadvantage. Because the lace scalp is so very delicate, and the strands of hair so very delicate, it makes the wig extremely easy to damage. The average lifespan of a lace front wig is very short compared to its sturdier counterparts.

The fragile lace front wig will also need repair work if worn regularly. The constant styling and wear will cause the front sections to fray and break. Both the scalp section and the silky strands will need to be regularly maintained for the life of the lace front wig. Without regular maintenance, the wig will quickly become a rag.
