Lady Gaga Shows A Lot at the International Emmy Awards

Lady Gaga showed a lot of leg as she made a surprise appearance at the International Emmy Awards in New York Monday night (Nov 21) where she presented “American Idol” boss Nigel Lythgoe with an award.

After her hosting duties, the “Marry the Night” singer, sporting a long black dress with a huge split exposing her entire leg and thigh (and her unicorn tattoo), posed for photos with Lythgoe in the Press Room.

Even though we don’t feel like Gaga’s choice of attire was the most appropriate for the International Emmys, this outfit is pretty tame compared to some of her usual get-ups.

Lady Gaga, usually known for her highly unusual wardrobe, actually looked pretty normal as she greeted fans and photographers when she was spotted leaving her hotel in London over the weekend (Sat. Nov 12).

Dressed in a frilly bright pink blouse and a black skirt with a large belt, which she matched with black red-bottom Christian Louboutin heels, black leather gloves and cat-eye sunglasses, Gaga stepped out of her London hotel in a more classic and conservative look.

Though the roughly $15,000 price tag of Kim Kardashian's Hermès Birkin bag is enough to make the average person break a sweat, the star uses hers for sweat sessions, toting it to complement her monochromatic ensemble for a Barry's Bootcamp workout in N.Y.C.

How to Get Thicker Hair?

Follow these tips, and you will get your hair thicker natural

Massage
Massaging your head and scalp regularly with coconut oil is one of the best methods to get thicker hair naturally. Heat the coconut oil a little and apply it on the scalp and hair by moving your fingers in circular motions. Apart from coconut oil, you can also use other types of oil that suits you like olive oil, jojoba oil, virgin oil, etc. Once you have applied the oil, wet a towel in hot water, squeeze off the excess water and wrap it around your hair. Following this procedure at least one day in a week helps in making the scalp stronger, thus leading to thick and shiny hair. Read more on grow hair faster tips.
Healthy Diet
Just like our body needs good food to stay healthy, even our hair needs a good supply of vitamins and minerals to grow longer as well as thicker. Hence, it is important to indulge in a diet that is healthy as well as balanced. Your daily diet should include foods like fruits, fresh vegetables, nuts, eggs, etc. Along with your diet, it is also recommended to take a daily dosage of multivitamin tablets to get thicker hair. Also, do not forget to drink lots of water, it definitely helps in hair growth. Read more on vitamins for hair loss.

Hair Washing Care
Washing your hair regularly is important, but too much washing can make the hair dry. Washing your hair every alternate day is good enough. Moreover, avoid washing your hair with hot water, opt for lukewarm water, as hot water can cause damage to your hair. Mostly people who have oily hair wash their hair regularly. If you are doing this, avoid using shampoos and conditioners everyday. After washing the hair, many people have the habit of wrapping it with a towel to dry. You have to strictly avoid this practice as this can cause hair breakage as well as too many tangles. Once you have washed your hair, let it dry on its own and also avoid combing your hair while it is still wet.

Shampoo and Conditioner
Advertisements about shampoos and conditioners that promise healthy and thicker hair always tempt us. However, most of the times, these shampoos do not have any positive effect, rather they sometimes damage the hair. This is because these hair products contain chemicals that can cause harm to the hair. Most shampoos contain sodium laureth sulfate, which is meant to remove the oil and dirt, but in the process it also makes the scalp weak. Hence, before buying your shampoo, check its ingredients list carefully. You can also opt for a shampoo which is made of herbs and does not contain any harsh chemicals. Read more on hair care products.

Avoid Straightening or Curling
It has become a trend among youngsters to experiment with their looks by curling, straightening and coloring their hair. However, experts say that if you want to have healthy and thicker hair, you have to stop these practices completely. This is because, doing these changes to the hair makes the hair week, thin, and also to lose its natural luster.

Other Tips for Thicker Hair
Henna is one of the best way to grow thicker hair naturally. Henna not only gives a natural color to the hair, but also helps in making it thick, soft and shiny. Applying raw egg yolk to the hair once a month also helps in the growth of thicker hair. The type of comb you use will make a difference to the quality of your hair. Hence, instead of combs which have teeth that are set very closely, you should buy a wide teeth comb made of wood or bone. Another important suggestion to protect your hair from damage is to cover your hair with a scarf while you are going outdoors.

Look Pretty in Glasses

Wearing glasses might make you feel self-conscious about your looks. If glasses are essential to improving your vision, however, they become a necessary evil. Find frames that complement the shape of your face and skin tone so you look good when you wear them.

· Determine if your face looks oval, round, oblong, heart-shaped or square. Tie your hair back and look in the mirror. Begin with your hairline and work down toward your chin to determine your face's shape.
· Find glasses that offset the shape of your face, not match it. If you have an oval face, purchase frames that are wider than the widest section of your face to add balance. If you have a round face, find frames that are wider than they are deep. Rectangular frames make round faces appear long and thin. If your face is oblong, you need more depth from the top of the glasses to the bottom. Add width to your face with glasses that have decorative features. If your face is heart-shaped, try rimless glasses or frames with cat-eye features. If your face is square, choose narrow frames that are wider than they are high.

· Choose glasses that match the size of your face. If your face is small, avoid big or bulky frames. If your face is large, choose larger frames that minimize your features.

· Pick the best frame color for your skin tone. Determine if you have a warm or cool skin tone based on your eye or hair color. Visit a cosmetics counter to find out. If your skin tone is cool, choose frames that are black, blue-gray, pink, magenta, amber, charcoal, pewter and silver. If your skin tone is warm, buy frames that are coral, orange, white, peach, gold, copper, red, beige, aqua, tortoise or honey colored.

Tips
It is essential to find the correct lens size and to be sure that your eyes are centered in your lenses.
Be patient and try on a lot of frames. Wait until you find the perfect pair before you make your purchase. Glasses are part of your identity; make sure that they represent you well.
